We also have free events like Story Time for pre schoolers, along with art lessons, and other fun or informative events (see the events section below for details). USED HOMESCHOOL CURRICULUM: Our used book selection is growing quickly. We've added an additional 12 book cases and they're filling fast, we currently have over 3,000 books on the shelves. So, when you're ready to buy this year's books why not come check us out. And, if you have books you're done with or some that you just never got around to using, consider letting us help you sell them. And while you're here enjoying the savings, join in on some fun games, prizes and snacks.
-Loom Weaving Craft Day. Come join the fun as we learn how to weave potholders using a loom. The event is for ages 7 through adult and it will be held on Saturday November 12th, beginning at 10:30 and ending at approx. 11:30. The event is free but we do need you to sign up aheaad of time for this event. Sign up deadline is 11/9. You will have the option to buy a loom frame and hook to take home for $2.
-Cards for Smiles. Make Christmas a little brighter for the residents in our local nursing home. Children ages 5 - 15, bring in one or more homemade Christmas cards for these dear residents. For every card that you bring in you'll receive an entry to try to win a $30 shopping spree here at the store. Each card must be hand made, have at least one picture or drawing (cut out pictures from old Christmas cards may gladly be used on your card), have a Christmas greeting and be signed by the child (first name only please). Parent's help is permitted for the younger children but the child must add his/her own touches. Deadline to bring cards in is 5:00 p.m. on 12/19 and the drawing will be held 12/20.
-Christmas Craft Event. Saturday, December 3rd will be our annual Christmas event geared to children ages 6 to 12. They will be able to make an ornament to take home and also some Christmas cards which we'll collect and deliver to our local nursing home residents. The event starts at 10:30 and will last until approx. 11:30, it is free and there is no sign-up necessary.
-Kids Palette Art Lessons, As the children head back to school, our art lessons head back to meeting on Saturday mornings. The class is taught by a certified art teacher and will meet the 1st Saturday of each month starting October 1st, from 11:00 - 11:45. The lessons are for children ages 5-15, with seperate lessons for eaach age group (5-10 and 11-15) but both will be held at the same time slot. The cost is $5.00 per child, per lesson. No sign-up necessary.

Consignment Policy: We're expanding our used homeschool curriculum section and need your books.
Please call for our policy and to set up a drop off time.
Items that will be accepted for consignment are as follows: current edition curriculum, children's general reading books, science supplies/equipment, manipulatives, and games that have all of their pieces. All items must be in nice to like-new condition (workbooks may have minimal writing in them). We do not accept old edition curriculum, public school text books, magazines or encyclopedias.
